Hello and welcome to the Glam Gardener! This is my newest attempt at blogging and I'm going to try to be disciplined about it. I used to enjoy blogging in the past on my old blog "Hortus Odorifera". Unfortunately, I got distracted and stopped working on it. I have chosen a few decent posts from the old blog and posted them here just in case you'd like to read them.
As for me...I'm 25 and live in Logan Circle in Washington, DC. I'm a professional gardener by trade and currently work full time at the US Botanic Garden as well as moonlighting at Garden District on 14th Street and teaching a Horticulture class at the Graduate School.
We might as well start with my confession. I'm a total plant dork. I am. I've stopped denying the label of "dork" and now I embrace it. This blog is going to be my space to "dork" out so that my friends might not have to endure quite so many raves about the fabulous new dahlia I just planted in my garden. Don't worry, it won't be strictly a gardening blog.
